Comments: My dad worked for Southern Towing at the time of his death in December 1978, I have been on this boat and all the other STC boats will him many times. It just brings back good ole memories to me and my family. Thank you so much for a great site.

Comments: Your site is fabulous! My dad owned 4 towboats in Galveston back in the late 1950s-early 60s and I grew up around boats. I can't believe you even have a photo of the M.V. Tusgaloosa. I remember seeing that boat when it was originally owned by Coyle Lines and painted bright yellow around 1958-59 around the Bolivar area. You have so many great photos. Keep up the great work.
