We live on the river in Stout Ohio. I have started my own page Beautiful Southern Ohio. I take pics and videos of barges going up and down the river. Please check out my page...I have posted many of the Paul Blazer!!

I grew up on the Ohio River, and my dad worked for ACBL on the Frank Rader, V.W. Meythaler, and if I remember correctly, the A.C. Shelton, and also spent some time in Cairo. I've probably seen many of these boats a time or two!

I\92ve been chasing and repairing boats for the last 10 years and have become addicted to it. I couldnt see myself in another industry. I currently work for Blessey Marine Services as a Port Engineer/Electrician.

Started my maritime career as assistant engineer on the UNITED STATES with Federal Barge Lines...I forgot just how swoopy the lines of that boat were. I went on to a career in deep sea side of the business, tankers, bulk carriers, cruise ships and finally ocean tugs, but never forgot where I started.

I worked on the Fort Pierre under Captain Brown in the summers from 1972 to 1975. When it was owned by SCNO. Mostly on the Missouri River.
